On 23 April 2026, H.E. Prof. Ivo Josipović, the third President of Croatia, and his delegation arrived in Shenzhen for a special visit to Clear Sky Group’s Shenzhen headquarters, where they held high-level business talks with Dame Hung Tsz Ching, Chairwoman of the Board. H.E. Prof. Ivo Josipović served as President of Croatia from 2010 to 2015. He is not only a seasoned Croatian statesman, but also an active promoter of China–Croatia friendship. He has visited China more than twenty times to date, and holds deep observations and high praise for China’s development achievements. As a Doctor of Law, a renowned jurist, and a composer, during his tenure he actively advanced Croatia’s democratic development and international cooperation. After leaving office, he has continued to promote economic, trade, and cultural exchange among nations, with particular attention to deepening China–Croatia cooperation under the Belt and Road framework.

H.E. Prof. Ivo Josipović highly praised Clear Sky Group’s diversified development achievements. He noted that China is an outstanding partner for Croatia; since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1992, ties have remained friendly and smooth, without political differences or disputes. Projects under jointly building the Belt and Road—such as the Pelješac Bridge—have become models of bilateral cooperation. His visit to Clear Sky Group was motivated by the Group’s layout strengths and development potential in multiple emerging fields. He hoped to take this discussion as an opportunity to build a bridge of cooperation between Croatia and Clear Sky Group, and to advance deeper collaboration in industrial investment, life sciences and greater health, technology R&D, and other areas.
